Hi. My father in law gave me his Acer Tab 8W tablet since he got a new one. I need to do a factory or hard reset- I want to wipe everything. I have tried both the Windows reset and the Acer reset and both give me the same message "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made. Check for solutions to this problem." Any ideas?
Try a factory reset (you will loose all your personal data) with tablet powered OFF. press volume UP button and power button together for about 3 seconds. then leave power button but keep pressing volume UP. once you see a menu, leave volume UP too. then choose Wipe data/factory reset. confirm. once done, select reboot

I have an Iconia one 10 B3-A20 and after resetting to factory default it asks for google account. Unfortunatelly the tablet was initally setup with a new google account an I cannot remember email or password. I tried to hard reset/reflash but nothing works. Suite à une mise à jour de mon PC ACER ICONIA W510, celle-ci ne fonctionne plus. Elle s'allume, mais après quelque secondes, le message "Arrêt en cours" apparaît et le pc s’éteint. Après de nombreuses recherches, j'ai bien compris qu'il fallait que je boot mon pc avec une clef USB Bootable avec une image ISO de windows 8.1.
